While Blossend's current architecture favors Vercel's serverless deployment for web applications (eliminating the need for K8s cluster management as a solo founder), Pablo's Kubernetes knowledge remains relevant for evaluating infrastructure decisions, understanding distributed systems architecture, and preparing for the scale at which Kubernetes becomes necessary. At Amazon, Pablo worked with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and internal Kubernetes deployments that orchestrate thousands of containers across hundreds of nodes — managing service discovery, load balancing, automatic scaling, rolling deployments with zero downtime, health checks, resource quotas, and namespace-based multi-tenancy. However, as Blossend scales beyond the serverless sweet spot, Pablo has the Kubernetes expertise to architect a migration to a managed K8s cluster (EKS or GKE) for services that need custom networking, GPU access for ML inference, or persistent stateful workloads. His understanding of K8s networking (services, ingress, network policies), storage (PV, PVC, StorageClasses), and security (RBAC, pod security policies, secrets management) ensures he can make informed infrastructure decisions as Blossend's needs evolve.
